MENDED ANCHOR NECKLACE Two materials. One necklace. The join is the point.
A fine oxidized sterling silver chain on one side. Hand-braided red waxed linen — knotted, frayed at the ends — on the other. They meet at a 1" oxidized sterling anchor pendant. The contrast between the precision of the chain and the rawness of the linen is deliberate. This is a Mended piece — the repair is visible and intentional.
No two are exactly alike. The linen knots, the tension, the frayed ends — each one tied by hand.
