Using a direct wax impression, I capture the softened relief and worn surface of the original, then translate that imprint into solid bronze by hand.
It is preserved evidence of resilience.
The surface bears intentional irregularities, oxidation, and tool marks — honoring age rather than erasing it.
Designed to layer or wear alone, this medal functions as a modern artifact of strength and self-possession.
