This piece begins with an original vintage medal featuring a quatrefoil — a four-lobed form found in ancient coins, architecture, and seals across cultures and centuries.
Using a direct wax impression, I capture the softened relief and worn surface of the original, then translate that imprint into solid bronze by hand.
It is a preserved fragment of design history.
The quatrefoil represents balance, continuity, and structure — a symbol of order within complexity.
Finished with an oxidized patina and intentionally preserved texture, this talisman is designed to age, darken, and evolve with you.
