Imprint Cross Pendant — Ancient Bronze
A modern relic formed through pressure and handwork.
This piece begins with a wax impression taken from a fragment of an old coin. The impression is then reworked by hand—softened, reshaped, and partially erased—until the original source becomes abstract.
The cross emerges quietly rather than symbolically: worn, uneven, and unresolved. Surface marks, irregular edges, and areas of erosion are preserved, allowing the piece to retain a sense of age without imitating it.
Hand-cast in ancient bronze and finished by hand in the studio. Each pendant carries subtle variation and is entirely one of a kind.
Designed to be worn close—layered or alone—as a personal talisman rather than ornament.
