Heritage Medals, a circle and a square, and a sterling silver safety pin are hand-braided together with waxed linen cord in a deep red.
The asymmetrical arrangement gives the necklace its character, with the substantial silver medals balanced by the raw texture of the waxed linen and the sharp detail of the safety pin.
It has the feeling of a collected piece of hardware—refined through contrast, texture, and a little imperfection.
