What is a Talisman?

A talisman sounds ominous but its just a token. A daily ritual. Something that makes you feel calmer, more grounded — safer in a world that doesn't always feel safe.

People think it's just a word jewelry brands use to sound cool. It isn't.

Think about why people smoke or drink coffee. There's a chemical effect, sure. But mostly it's the ritual. The repetition. The thing you reach for. A talisman works the same way — except you wear it.

You take it with you. It's there when you need it.

The object has to mean something though. It has to resonate. Icons that represent strength, protection, safety — symbols that have existed since the beginning of human history because we have always needed them. We have always needed something to hold.

Adults still need a touchstone. A baby blanket. We just don't admit it.
